Movies should have one title.
The City of the Dead is also known as Horror Hotel. Do we really need multiple titles for films? It just makes things confusing. However, I do like the tagline for the U.S. release, “Just ring for doom service!”
The right music is important.
Just like hands, music is important. Music can bring me deeper into a film or it can take me out of it completely. The music here did the later.
If you’re a young woman, don’t go to a town full of witches who need young woman blood to live forever.
Research an area before you visit. Then, if you find that it may be full of witches craving young woman blood, don’t go there. Also, if you go to a place and you think freaky stuff might be going down, get out of there, because freaky stuff is definitely going down. Nothing good ever came from some inexperienced bozo snooping around trying to solve the world’s greatest and most dangerous mysteries like they’re in an episode of Scooby-Doo. Don’t do it! Don’t become a statistic!
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
Christopher lee is not to be trusted.
The moment I saw Christopher Lee as a friendly and intelligent college professor, I knew he was up to no good. Never trust Christopher Lee in a movie, even if he’s a school teacher (or a white wizard).
